The letter highlighted how new legislation — such as the Law on Transparency of Foreign Influence and the Law on the Registration of Foreign Agents — poses severe risks to civil society and religious organizations, threatening their ability to operate freely and uphold freedom of religion or belief. IPPFoRB urged European leaders to take decisive action to protect fundamental rights and support communities facing these unprecedented restrictions.
