We believe that working together across political, religious and geographical divides can help tackle current challenges to achieving freedom of religion or belief for all. Thus, we connect parliamentarians at the regional and national levels by creating networks or groups. These networks advocate for this human right in ways specific to their context. We support their efforts in multiple ways.

SOUTHEAST ASIA PARLIAMENTARIANS FOR FREEDOM OF RELIGION OR BELIEF (SEAPFoRB)

Southeast Asia Parliamentarians for Freedom of Religion or Belief (SEAPFoRB) is a working group of current and former parliamentarians working to advance freedom of religion or belief in Southeast Asia. They work to address these issues by creating platforms for open dialogue between parliamentarians and relevant stakeholders, needs-based research and concrete advocacy initiatives. These activities are at lessening religious tensions, tackling hate speech, legislating for religious freedom, and abolishing blasphemy laws.
